Order of Service

We launch each service with dynamic worship then dive into the word with our senior pastor, Dan Turpin, or one of our amazing guest speakers. We close each service with an opportunity to respond to prayer and worship together. Services typically last 70 minutes.

What To Wear

Come as you are! We welcome you to attend as casually or formally as you feel comfortable.

Parking

We have limited parking located in front of the church that includes handicap spaces. There are more handicap spaces located in the back lot along with special parking for first time guests. Overflow parking is in the field next to the main building.

Child Care

Child care is available for infants 3 months - 5th grade in the Next Generation Building behind the main sanctuary. All of our child care workers are background checked and trained. Students 6th grade and older are welcomed to join adults in our main service.

Dan Turpin, Senior Pastor

I am the Senior Pastor of Westcoast Church and have led in ministry for over 40 years As a seasoned pastor and author of multiple books on topics from daily devotional to the book of Revelation, I am passionate about God's Word and helping his people understand how to live in relationship with Him. I am proud to serve on the Board of Director for Loving Hands Ministry, as it gives me an opportunity to pour into men who have overcome life-controlling issues just like I have. I love the Englewood community and the family that has been created by our congregation at West Coast Church...I look forward to meeting you! Nancy Turpin, Associate Pastor

As a minister for over 40 years, I have led in every capacity of ministry. I am honored to serve and co-lead alongside my husband, Senior Pastor Dan Turpin. Reaching our community, showing them their value and purpose in Christ, is my heart's greatest desire. God led our family to Englewood and specifically, Westcoast Church, in 2010, after pastoring a church in Mulberry, Florida, for 15 years. We have fallen in love with our community and cannot wait to see all God has in store for your family at Westcoast Church.

Katie Walston, Youth Pastor

Westcoast has been my home church since 2006. I graduated from Southeastern University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and minor in Youth Ministry. I joined the WCC staff in 2018 and get the indescribable honor to Pastor the middle and high students of ENCNTR Student Ministry. Being a Christian and going the church is the best fun I’ve ever had and my heart is to see students of all backgrounds find meaningful relationships with others while experiencing real life change through a genuine, growing relationship with Jesus. I look forward to meeting your family and students soon. Forewarning, it may get rowdy!

Rena Shelton, Children's Pastor

I am the Next Generations Pastor and have a passion for seeing children and their families reached for Christ. I gave my heart to God as a teenager and my life has never been the same! I have served at Westcoast Church since I was in high school, so now, to have an opportunity to impact and oversee Treehouse Kids Church and our other amazing children's programs, is the greatest gift! I love seeing families grow closer to Jesus and to each other. Art and computers are my specialties, so I love incorporating them to enhance the church experience for children. I love everything that has to do with art, pianos and disney movies! After growing up in a broken home, I was left with a burning desire to reach families and encourage children. Seeing God restore others like he restored me has been an amazing experience. I am honored to have the opportunity to minister at Westcoast Church and to be a part of the amazing things that happen here. I look forward to meeting you and your amazing family!

Angie Cammock, Communications Director

I graduated from Florida Southwestern in 2019. I am honored to be on staff at Westcoast church. God has pulled my heart to ministry and I know it is something that can only be done in Him and with lots of coffee! I have a heart for people and our community and love witnessing the miraculous work God is doing through the Westcoast Church Family.
